Student Centered Advocacy/Bargaining for the Common Good (BCG) is an innovative organizing approach where teachers and support staff use collective bargaining as an opportunity to organize parents and community members around a set of goals that benefit students, staff and the whole school community.
The strategy aligns labor and the community, creating a partnership to collaborate and build public support for solutions that rebuild our communities, adequately fund public services, and to promote a quality public education that all students deserve.
