SUMMARY:National Board Training Support Workshops 2022-23
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE \nNational Board Certification is the most respected professional credential available in education. Any educator with a bachelor’s degree\, active teaching certificate\, and 3 years teaching/school counseling experience is eligible for certification. \nAs part of your membership\, MEA offers FREE\, virtual workshops to guide you through the NBCT process. Participants who complete all sessions will receive 15 CEUs. \nThese workshops are for:\n\nPotential NBCT candidates seeking more information\nNBCT candidates working toward certification\nNBCT renewal candidates\n\n2022-2023 Dates\nAll sessions will be held virtually and will run from 9 AM-2PM. You must attend each workshop. When registering\, please click each dated box to the right which will sign you up for the entire series.\nSupport Workshops: Each workshop will have a different focus based on the needs of the candidates attending. \n\nOctober 29th\nDec. 10th\nJan. 14th\nFeb. 11th\nMarch 18th\nApril 29th\nMay 6th\n\nParticipants are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible to get the full benefit of working with this group of dedicated Maine teachers. \nAll workshops are sponsored by the Maine Education Association and facilitated by trained Candidate Support Providers who are NBCTs.
