DESCRIPTION:How to effectively use your grievance procedures.\n\n\nThis will be a two-session training that will help you determine when you have a grievance\, how to effectively advocate\, and defend not only your members\, but your contract. This training is structured to be a great refresher to veterans and a comprehensive introduction to our newer union leaders. You must be able to commit to both dates. \n \nDates: Tuesday\, April 25 and Tuesday\, May 2nd. \nTime: 4:30pm-7:00pm \nLocation: Warsaw Middle School \n                  167 School Street \n                  Pittsfield\, ME \n \nTopics will include but not be limited to: \n \n•	What is a grievance? \n•	When and how to file a grievance (or not)? \n•	Past Practice \n•	Grievances and the law \n•	Types of disputes \n•	Developing your position \n•	Writing the grievance \n•	Settlements \n \nDinner will be provided.  \n \nIf you have strong interest in the training\, but are unable to commit to these dates\, please reach out to your UniServ Director\, Sarah Nichols via email at snichols@maineea.org.
