Come explore what advocacy is and the many types of advocacy locals engage as you learn the nuts and bolts of grievance handling. Topics include: the role and rights of union “stewards”\, Weingarten rights\, complaints and investigations\, and the grievance process. Participants will leave with the skills to advocate for members to build local union power.\n \n \nThis training is open to ALL association leaders and members interested in becoming an advocate in the future.
