After celebrating that the TV ads have ended, it’s time to get to work to ensure that our students and schools get the support they need to be successful.
Let’s be sure to hold our newly elected officials accountable for the promises made during the campaign season. How about inviting them into our schools and classrooms to show them what we do every day for our students? If we can all keep in touch with our legislators at both the state and federal level it will help to ensure that they are informed on our issues and that they understand what it takes to educate Maine’s students. Stay informed on what policies they are proposing and weigh in on them with what you, the real experts in education, think about the effects the policies will have on students and on colleagues!
