We know educators are generous and caring people! Many of our locals already have projects to help their communities: backpacks for kids, food and clothing drives, etc. Let’s share what we do!
During the next several weeks MEA will start a new initiative called MEA Season of Giving. We hope you will join us as we give back to our communities and students! Post a photo of what your local association does that goes above and beyond the work we do every day. Compete within your local to see which building in your district can get the most participation in the project! MEA will be looking for which school’s group gets the most “likes” by mid-December. The winner will have a breakfast delivered to their building to start off the New Year! Here is how to post your building’s project: MEA will post information about the MEA Season of Giving on its social media pages, including Facebook. The post will ask members and local associations to share a picture or pictures from their charitable event or donations. Pictures should be placed in the comments section of MEA’s post. Feel free to use #MEAGiving-then ask everyone you know to vote for your picture! Let’s get giving!
