March has been a busy month, filled with legislative hearings.

MEA’s Executive Director Paula Voelker, Government Relations Director John Kosinski, Collective Bargaining and Research Director CJ Betit, General Counsel Andrew Mason and MEA President Grace Leavitt have written and presented testimony (on over 70 bills so far!) dealing with a variety of issues that affect our members and our students.

From remote snow days to giving educators the right to have a voice in things like teacher planning and prep time, MEA is in front of the issues and representing you in Augusta. But the work can’t be done without you!

Many members have also submitted testimony—the video testimony has been especially great! —and some have even attended hearings! Keep it coming!
