Association Rep Training Open to ANY interested MEA members WANTED! Friendly, knowledgeable individuals with an eye for justice interested in supporting your peers and improving your work-life. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! OR… Maybe you’re already an Association Leader or Association Rep but not quite sure what to do? Association Reps are the foundation of an effective union, and this training will provide the fundamental knowledge and leadership skills you need to support and represent your fellow members. Please join UniServ Director, Melissa Statman for an in depth look at the roles and responsibilities of an Association Rep, the ABC’s of advocacy, a discussion about why building our membership matters, and how to strengthen your Association through advocacy. Dinner will be provided and mileage will be reimbursed. Registration closes Monday, September 14th at 2 p.m.
