The MEA Board of Directors engaged in rich discussions on a variety of topics at this month’s meeting.
In addition to the usual business, the Board voted in support of several topics that will be coming before the legislature: automatic voter registration, Community Schools, eliminating non-medical exemptions for required vaccinations.
The Board also voted to support striking faculty at Wright State University, and heard presentations by attendees to the NEA Minority Leadership/Women’s Leadership Summits and the NEA Financial Forum.
