Virtual Family Code Night – FREE and available to all Maine schools
In the past three years, more than 100 Maine schools and community organizations have hosted Family Code Nights. These events brought together nearly 3,000 children and parents to learn how to code side-by-side. This year virtual family code nights will be available for all Maine students.

Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance is partnering with CS is Elementary to get schools in every Maine county involved. It’s really simple. Visit MMSA’s CS is Elementary page to register. Choose a Virtual Family Code Night date and get your principal or other site leader’s approval. Then simply invite your families to the online event. They are live-streaming 10 family code nights this fall and will provide you with a toolkit to help you invite your school’s families. All you need to do is spread the word.

Available dates include 11/17 at 8pm, 11/23 at 7pm, 12/1 at 7pm, and 12/9 at 9pm.
