MEA understands students have been impacted by the pandemic, as have educators in ways that continue to change and impact teaching and learning. This member-exclusive webinar will offer some ways to de-escalate student anger and foster constructive relationships with students that can help us all in these challenging times.

Presenters: Raul Gonzalez and Darrell Taylor-NEA members and educators

Raul Gonzalez is a 21-year educator and has been an elected union leader, advocating for students, educators, and the community for more than 15 years. Gonzalez currently teaches Transitional Kindergarten, a grade level created between preschool and kindergarten, for special needs students.

Darrell Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a MAT in Secondary Education. Taylor has more than 30 years of teaching experience in K-12. Taylor is also a former professional football player.
