What? MEA is excited to share our FREE Summer Camp Save the Date. We invite our members in all roles to join us for a dynamic and enriching two days designed to enhance your professional skills and knowledge. Our sessions will focus on key areas such as behavior management, attendance, cultural competence, special education law, and supporting students with disabilities, providing valuable insights and practical strategies to enhance your professional skills.
Learn about developmentally appropriate practices, best practices for working with LGBTQ+ youth, and ways to strengthen your impact as a union advocate. Additionally, enjoy practical workshops like engaging in workplace conversations, yoga for relaxation, and more.
Additionally, we are honored to feature keynote speaker, Dr. Lori Desautles, the founder of the Educational Neuroscience Symposium, who will present a session entitled: Our Journey Through the Developing Nervous System as We Rewire Our Perceptions of Discipline.
