MEA is counting down the top 20 New Year’s resolutions for educators. Let’s all laugh together a little more in 2020.

3)
I will learn more about my union and how it helps me.

I will say “no” more so I have more “me” time.

5)
I will keep things in perspective.

6)
I will remember that if I spread toothpaste over the gum that somehow got on my clothes, everything will be ok.

7)
I will build movement into my classroom routine, since I know it’s probably the only time I will have to exercise and, it will help my students too.

8)
I will smile more. Feeling happy spreads kindness!

9)
I will relax.

10)
I will not lose it when someone says: “you have summers off.”

11)
I will try to find three minutes in the school day to use the bathroom at least once.

12)
I will really try to wrap my head around the new standards and policies thrown my way.

13)
I will try to build a better work-life balance.

14)
I will try to stay organized and not let grading pile up.

15)
