I guess “spring has sprung”—that is, it has sprung a surprise on us this year—with yet another ‘spring snowstorm’ headed our way as you receive this. I know it’s Maine—I get that—just saying…But in the event that you do have a snow day this week, please take a break from the snow shovel and take a few moments to do the following:
MOST IMPORTANT: We are watching legislative actions closely and need YOU to take action NOW to help get our priorities across the finish line! CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS NOW: Your Legislators Need to Hear from You! (ngpvan.com)
And please keep Thursday, April 18th open for a planned second MEA Lobby Day! We will get information out to you as the date draws near, but we are hoping to have one more in-person push on our priorities! Register here: https://secure.ngpvan.com/yP9tMDZTgEilKLuRB0fTzQ2
ALSO IMPORTANT (of course, everything else in this message is important, too, so keep reading!): with April, along with nor’easters, comes “EARLY ENROLLMENT”—the chance for you to talk with any colleague who maybe hasn’t yet realized the value of belonging to the Association and let them know they can join now, enjoy many of the benefits, and wait until September to pay dues. Have that conversation–tell them why you belong, and share this information: https://maineea.org/join/
