Apply to present at the 2018 MEA Quality Schools Summit
Proposals to Present Are Due January 19, 2018
You will be notified of the status of your application by January 29, 2018.
Proposal Submission Tips
- All proposals must be entered on the Google form linked below. It may be useful to write a draft of your responses in a Word file and then cut and paste your answers.
- Sessions that are interactive, fun, thought-provoking, and lead to lead to student engagement will be given priority.
- Presenters who are not school employees, but instead work with schools, are encouraged to include practicioners as co-presenters.
- Sessions that address the needs of educational technicians and school support staff (bus drivers, custodians, food service, etc.) are strongly encouraged.
- Sessions will be 90 minutes long. Presenters should strive to use a lecture format for no more than 1/3 of that time.
- The intent of this conference is to promote the mission, vision, and values of the MEA and should align with its vision: Great public schools for every Maine student.
