The MEA Quality Schools Summit is looking for presenters who have expertise they want to share with their fellow educators. All proposals are welcome, and we have many session slots available.
We encourage proposals that focus on school climate and culture as they impact teaching, learning, and school safety.
In particular, we want sessions that address the following areas:
- trauma informed teaching, adverse childhood experiences, and social emotional learning;
- teacher leadership;
- restorative justice;
- rethinking and redesigning schools;
- proposals that pertain to all categories of educational support staff members.
Be bold and bring us your best ideas!
We strive for a mix of 1/3 content delivery and 2/3 audience interaction. The mix is important. Your sessions should model good adult learning practices by limiting lecture and PowerPoint presentations and maximizing audience engagement as much as possible.
Please contact Dan Allen at (207) 622-4418, ext. 2223, with questions. Click the link here to submit your proposal.
