Each June many MEA members like to show their support for colleagues and students by attending and participating in some of the PRIDE events around our state.
MEA is registered to have a group march in both the Portland and the Bangor parades, and often has a group march in the Belfast and Lewiston/Auburn (Great Falls) ones as well (no registration needed).
If you want to participate in any of the parades, please let me know asap! I will get back to you with details, such as when and where to meet. (Note: Great Falls Pride is THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 2nd )
And if you attend any of the other events, please share a photo with us, maybe wearing some MEA attire!
