NEW Changes to Maine’s Certification Rules

Maine’s certification rules changed this summer, and the Maine Education Association is here to help you understand what’s changed and what you need to do now to stay certified.
Join MEA and the Department of Education during this important webinar to understand these changes, and the necessary steps you may need to take now and in the future. We are lucky to be joined by Deputy Education Commissioner Dan Chuhta, and the Director of Educator Support Services, Ángel Loredo, who have been on the frontline of monitoring and implementing changes to our certification rules in Maine. The DOE will provide a snapshot of the changes, showing how they will impact initial and renewal requirements for teachers.
